About Us
The Watershed Hydrology Research Laboratory (WHYREL) is a research unit at the University of Nairobi’s Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology (LARMAT). LARMAT is one of the departments in the Faculty of Agriculture at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences. WHYREL was established in 2017 under the auspices of VLIRUOS TEAM project titled “Improved management of nitrate pollution management in the Lake Victoria catchment of Kenya”.
